Reflection 1

High school is a place of pain and misery; embarrassment everyday. The rumors around the school are terrible. How I am going to make it through four years is beyond me. The teachers are great... ten times better than most of the students. I am just lucky that i have a great friend to help me through this. Even though I am having a hard time socially and emotionally in school, my grades are going great. I will not do anything to ruin my grades; they are more important than having 100 friends. As long as I have my family and my best friends, I am set. Life is hard, but I just have to keep on trying to make it in the world; once i give up, i won't last. I just have to love and be thankful for what God has given me and work with it.
